Good power plant... weak shaft at C-clip.

Bought 9 motors. 3 motors are out of service after less than 24 months. 2 of them the shaft broke IVO of the "C-clip". No parts available to repair them. 1 of them got wet and never ran right again. About a 33% failure rate after 18 months and relatively, very little use. Recommend buying 22xx motors... 1806 have too high a failure rate.

The cure for overheating 1306 motors

If your 1306 4S combo is getting too hot...Try these out. I'm running 1806 2300 with the Dal 4" 3blade non-bullnose. Great combination. Good balance of speed and not too hard on the batteries. If you run heavier quad with 5" stiff props and you crash alot into trees these motors may need to be serviced more often, the e-clip on the bottom shaft fails in very hard crashes. But on 4" props 180mm build with 1000mah 3 and 4S batteries they seem to be holding up well. I have not had great luck with 4S and 4" bull nose props, the amp draw is too high, motors don't complain but it's very inefficient and draws alot more from the battery with little to show for it in performance.

They just don't hold up.

I've used several motors and these just don't hold up to very long, I've already bent the shafts on 3 of them. With that said, for $10, if your not crashing much they preform pretty good.

AMAZING!

these little bad boys make my 180mm frame a bullet on 4s, the only issue ive had is the tiny mounting screws backing out both on the prop adapter and mounts themselves, use plenty of loctite and your good.

Fantastic motors for the price.

Great power and flexibility for the lightweight 1806 size. Good match for 5030, 5040, and 5x3x3 triple blade props on 3S paired with 12amp ESCs. 4S with 5030 props ONLY.

great little motor for a 250 mini quad

I bought four of these for my very first ever Quad build and they work just fine. Plenty of power, no problems, seem great. I would recommend these especially because they are affordable. Oh, and the guys at MRM are great, have great customer service, and get my orders in the mail quickly. Michael
